I haven’t been to this Club before, but it is opposite Haskins Garden Centre at Longham ! I’m looking forward to meeting some new people and fellow stallholders !
I am looking forward to this event – it is going to be part of the Blandford Georgian Fayre on the same day. Should be fun !
I have been going to this school for several years now and it is always very well supported and plenty for the kids to do.
I’m really looking forward to this event as I have Googled the school and it is spectacular !
This is one of my favourite schools that I go to every year – lovely organisers, kids and parents alike !
I have no times for this event yet, but it is a new venue for me so not sure what to expect until I get there !
Another school that I have been going to for many years – always well supported and a lovely venue.
Littledown Food and Music Festival – Sunday 25 June 2017 11am-6pm.
Imagine. The best of local folk, rock and pop acts … superb street and artisan food from pop-up bars, cafés and restaurants … plus a generous sprinkling of stalls selling arts, crafts and local goods … all packed into one fantastic summer’s day.
This is a first in Littledown Park’s event calendar. And if you were at last July’s amazing Family Fun Day, you know you’re in for another treat.
“We’re really looking forward to showing of our fantastic and original home-grown musical and culinary talent,” says Littledown’s sales and events officer, Natalie McMullen. “We’ll have everything from traditional Hog Roast and Wood Fired Pizza to street food carts, local cheeses and handmade artisan breads, cakes, sauces, preserves and fudge. We’ll have a few arts and craft stalls too, all set up around the cricket pitch stage and pavilion bar.”
Look out for the street food corner, with an exotic world food menu to die for – from Vietnam, Turkey, India, Mexico, China, North America, and more. Sample your first nettle cordial and other food from the thirties, forties and fifties. Enjoy the best of locally brewed cider and ale, and a more spirited experience at the gin bar. Indulge in crepes, waffles, shakes and handmade fudge.
Great event in a huge craft marquee !
It so happens that I used to work at this school as a secretary about 30 odd years ago ! OMG, is it that long ! So obviously looking forward to going back there to see how the place has probably changed since then !
I used to do this event many moons ago and have just found out that there is this one on July 1st. It’s a lovely setting and will be plenty for you to see and for the kids to do.
This will be a new venue for me, so looking forward to meeting lots of new people there.
This is a great country school, and although small, their events are always well supported.
